I left the heat of the garden and walked to the gentle creek that meanders through the neighborhoods. I pulled off my clogs, rolled up my pant legs, and waded in. The sharp cold forced an inhale—a shiver ran through me. “Ahhhh, I said, “Refreshing.” I walked up the creek bed, exploring the twists and turns. “God, I feel you here in the water, in the rocks, in the trees.”
“I am here,” God replied, the wind carrying His voice to me. “I’m here loving you.”
And so I walked with Him, grateful for the nature tucked into a busy city. No lessons to learn, just life to enjoy, and to share with you, the love of our Creator.
