“Behold, I give you a wise and discerning mind…”
~First Kings 3:12
The Soul Reminders I write come to me in many different ways. I’m always looking for things to write about. Over the years of keeping my eyes and ears open for inspiration, something pretty amazing happened. I started seeing God’s handiwork in everything. I saw His spirit in everyone. God used my writing to open my heart and my mind to His Kingdom. I want you to have the same type of heart and mind opening.
Today, I’d like to encourage you to write your own Soul Reminder. Spend a few minutes looking for God out in nature, or in someone you meet, or some circumstance you find yourself in. What thoughts come to mind? What gentle lesson might there be for you to learn? What do you feel God has placed on your heart that He wants you to pay attention to? Your words don’t have to be fancy. Your Soul Reminder doesn’t have to be well-written. It might only be one or two sentences long. That’s okay. All it needs to be is honest.
I’d be honored to hear from you as to what you felt moved to write about. Feel free to share your Soul Reminder with me. I’d be happy to share some of them here. Happy writing!
